Accessibility

Last reviewed May 12, 2026

HollerShop is built to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to improve over time. This page describes where we stand today and how to reach us if something doesn't work for you.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML elements throughout — headings, forms, buttons, links use the correct underlying tags.
  • All interactive elements (buttons, links, form inputs) are keyboard-reachable. You can navigate the entire site with the Tab and arrow keys.
  • Focus indicators are visible on every focusable element.
  • Form fields have associated labels and clear validation messages.
  • Decorative images use empty alt text or aria-hidden. Functional images have descriptive alt text.
  • Color contrast meets WCAG AA targets for body text. Our primary background (oat) and primary action color (moss) were chosen with contrast in mind.

Known limitations

Honest list of things we know aren't there yet:

  • Screen-reader testinghas been informal so far — we test with VoiceOver and NVDA but haven't commissioned an external audit.
  • Reduced-motion (prefers-reduced-motion) is respected by default since we use very few animations, but we haven't systematically verified every component.
  • Language attributesare set to English site-wide; we don't currently offer translations.
  • Stripe Checkout and Stripe Connect onboarding are hosted by Stripe — their accessibility is governed by Stripe.

If something doesn't work

Please tell us. Email accessibility@hollershop.com with what page you were on, what device or assistive technology you were using, and what happened (or didn't). We respond within five business days and we'll fix issues as quickly as we can.

Format-on-request

If you need any HollerShop content (an order receipt, the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service) in an alternative format — large print, plain text, read-aloud — email us and we'll send it.
