Privacy Policy

HollerShop is a local marketplace operated by HollerShop LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use HollerShop, what we do with it, and the choices you have. By using HollerShop you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who we are
The data controller is HollerShop LLC, doing business as HollerShop. You can contact us at support@hollershop.com for any privacy-related question.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the marketplace. Specifically:
- Account information. Your email address, and — once you choose a role — a one-time confirmation code sent to that email. We never collect or store passwords; sign-in is by email code.
- Profile information you provide. Your full name, phone number (optional), and role (customer, rental owner, vendor, etc.).
- Order information. Items you order, delivery addresses and notes (for rental-owner deliveries), pickup hub selections, and pickup or delivery times.
- Payment information. Card numbers and billing details are collected and stored by Stripe, never by HollerShop. We see only non-sensitive payment metadata: the last four digits of your card, a tokenized payment-intent ID, and the resulting charge status.
- Vendor information. If you apply to sell on HollerShop, you provide a business name, your story, and certification status. Stripe collects your tax ID, bank account, and identity verification documents during the Connect onboarding flow — HollerShop never sees that data.
- Hub host applications. If you apply to host a hub, you provide contact info, the address and type of space, hours, refrigeration, and any notes you choose to include.
- Technical information. IP address, browser type, device type, and request timestamps — collected by Vercel (our hosting provider) in standard server logs.
3. How we use it
- To process and fulfill your orders.
- To route orders to the correct vendor, hub, and (where applicable) driver.
- To send transactional email — order confirmations, pickup ready notifications, sign-in codes, and similar.
- To pay vendors via Stripe Connect transfers after orders are fulfilled.
- To investigate fraud, disputes, and Terms of Service violations.
- To improve HollerShop — fix bugs, monitor performance, and understand how the marketplace is used.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to build profiles for advertising. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing.
4. Who we share information with
HollerShop relies on a small number of service providers (“processors”) to operate. We share only the information each one needs:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing, vendor onboarding (Stripe Connect), and payouts. Stripe receives payment, card, and (for vendors) tax/identity data directly. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase, Inc. — database, authentication, and file storage. Your account information, orders, and uploaded content live in a Supabase Postgres database.
- Vercel, Inc. — hosting and request logging.
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery. Your email address and the content of the email (e.g., your order summary) are sent to Resend for delivery.
- Vendors and hub attendants. When you place an order, the vendors fulfilling the items and the attendant at your pickup hub see your name, the items ordered, and your pickup or delivery details so they can pack and hand off your order.
- Drivers (delivery orders only). For rental-owner deliveries, the assigned driver sees your delivery address, guest name, and any delivery notes.
- Law enforcement and legal requests.If we're required by valid legal process to disclose information, we will — and where lawful, we'll notify you first.
5. Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Order and payment records are retained at least seven (7) years for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution purposes, even after you delete your account. Stripe and other processors have their own retention policies.
You can request deletion of your account by emailing support@hollershop.com. We will delete or anonymize your profile data within thirty (30) days, except for information we're legally required to retain.
6. Your rights (CA, VA, CO, CT, UT, etc.)
Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:
- Know what information we hold about you.
- Get a copy of that information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal exceptions).
- Opt out of the sale of your information — we don't sell it, but you can confirm.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@hollershop.com. We'll respond within forty-five (45) days.
7. Children
HollerShop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email support@hollershop.com and we'll delete it.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in (Supabase auth session) and to remember your cart. We don't use third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies. Vercel and Supabase set technical cookies as part of serving the site.
9. Security
We follow industry-standard practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), short-lived authentication sessions, and row-level authorization on the database so users can only access their own data. No system is perfectly secure — we encourage you to use a unique, current email address and to sign out on shared devices.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll revise the “Effective” date at the top and, for material changes, email registered users.
